SAVUDRIJA

... old little place, on the edge of Istra. It is a entire door to Umag`s coast. Savudrija is located on the borders of Piran bay, with a beautiful view on snowy Alps, and is on the part of coast with a view on a blue sea. People who come here have really many things to see and do (all sorts of sports, attractions, and so). From ancient times, Savudrija is known on her gastronomic offer (fish speciality) and on quality restaurants.
This territory is very rich with culturaly and historaly monuments. Savudrija`s lighthouse is the oldest one in Istra, builded in 1826. There are also remains of old Roman`s port, and on north, on little island near Savudrija there are remains of Roman`s colony Sipar.
