PAF PARTS

We stamp our own baseplates, every segment is vintage correct size and place. Material is custom made nickel silver in U.S.A. (a.k.a. German silver), best quality on market with correct percentage of nickel in material, made to specs from lab tested real 1958 paf pickup. We even replicated stamping marks on feets on pickups, because our tools are identical to the ones used on 50's and 60's gibson pickups. Tight fit / screw in holes for polepiece for great sustain just like on real PAF pickups. There is no baseplates on market that can be compared with Wizz baseplates. Please check picture bellow on aged version of wizz pickups, and comparing with real 1958 PAF pickup.

Our cellulose acetate butyrate plastic bobbins are made in steel mould just like the ones on 1950's pickups, with all correct details. Color of bobbins is matched to real 1959 zebra paf pickup. Even the mould marks and numbers inside bobbins are replicated.

We make our own slugs from various types of steel with different amount of carbon for getting all types of sound our customers are looking for. On wizz slugs you have that correct bulls eye lathe marks, and only one edge rounded, just like on real gibson 50's paf pickups. Slugs are nickel plated. Matching polepiece screws are also made from different types of steel to get different types of PAF sound. Our polepiece screws are custom made in U.S.A. in screw factory that made screws for gibson factory in 50's, and we believe our screws are made on the same machine like the ones on paf pickups. Nickel or gold plated. Vintage corect size and shape. Even that correct circle at the end of screw is replicated correctly. This are unavailable on market.

Keeper bars are made from a few different types of steel. Not stamped like cheap chinesse stuff you can buy everywhere. We had this steel custom made in keystock shape in U.S. factory, then we hand cut it, hand drill 2 types of holes, and with sanding we make same marks like real 50's keeper bars have. Wood spacers are also hand cut from eastern maple just like on real deal paf pickups.

Our PAF covers are made to exact TV screen shape and from vintage correct nickel silver material, nickel plated. Spacing is 49,21 mm and tool is made from original 1958 PAF cover. Nickel, gold plated or without plating for correct 1957 specs. Sharp edges.

Hookup wire is custom made in U.S. in the same factory that made pickup hookup wire for fender and gibson factories. Same specs like "loose" 2 strand braided late 50's PAF pickups. As a cosmetic feature we even had custom made coil tape that have correct "greenish" celluose finish. On demand we can replicate black light glow on tape or our silk screened "Patent applied for" decals. Magnet wire is custom made 42 awg dark purple plain enamel made in U.S.
