PAF Clone sets are 99% identical to real PAF pickups from 1957-1960.  They are virtually indistinguishable from real PAF pickups, in both sound and looks. (We made some tiny details different to prevent fraud or misrepresentation.)

42 AWG Black Plain Enamel wire, mismatched bobbins, Alnico 2, 3, 4 or 5 rough-cast magnets. Two-strand, vintage-correct braided push-back hookup wire, vintage-correct size and material pole-piece slugs, screws and keepers; and of course eastern maple hand-cut spacers.  Every set comes with vintage-correct slotted height screws and springs.  Baseplates are made from correct nickel silver, and important details like the hole for the hook-up wire are carefully replicated.

Vintage-correct 'Patent Applied For' decals are silk-screened with correct letters and gold paint. Every part is custom made, a combination that can't be found anywhere else on market.  Available with or without correct custom made nickel covers of 14% nickel-silver and nickel plated (gold plating also available).  Available colors on our cellulose acetate butyrate bobbins are double black, double cream, zebra or reverse zebra. PG PAF set
pickups are inspired by Peter Green's PAF sound. (we can make this sets from our PAF clone set too)

Bridge pickups have output somewhere between the Vintage PAF and the Vintage Hot PAF, but with that special tone, and it's wound with plain enamel wire. Alnico 4 rough cast magnets
