LOCATION

This exclusive apartment is located in the coastal village of Prigradica on the island of Korčula in the southern Dalmatia region of Croatia. Prigradica is located 4km from the town of Blato and 10 km from Vela Luka. Apartment sits on the hill, about 50 meters from the beach and it offers magnificent views of the sea, the island of Hvar and the Peljesac peninsula from the front balcony.

How to get here:

If you are arriving by car you may choose a location where you can board a car ferry. Current options are arrivals by car ferry to either port of Vela Luka or port of Korčula. Arrival to Vela Luka is more convenient as it is only 10 km from Prigradica, while the mid-evil Korčula town is approximetly 40 km away.Car ferry may be boarded in Split for a 3 hour pictourous cruise of Dalmatian Adriatic with a short stop at the current jet- set location on the Island of Hvar before arriving to Vela Luka. If you are visiting the north part of the Croatian coast you may board a car ferry in Rijeka and take a whole night cruise of the entire Croatian coastline arriving the next morning to Korčula town. We highly recommend that you rent a cabin ahead of time if you choose this option. You may also board the car ferry near Makarska and arrive in Korčula after a two hour ride full of Kodak moments. The fastest way to arrive to Prigradica is from Vela Luka, but the choice is entirely up to you. Complete car ferry schedule may be found at Jadrolinija web site. Description of the Island

Seperated from the Pelješac Peninsula by a narrow channel, Korčula ( Italian: Curzola ) is the sixth largest of the Adriatic islands, reaching nearly 47 km in length and 5 to 8 km in width. Besides the dense woods that led the original Greek settlers to call the island Korkyra Melaina ( Black Korčula ), the island is graced with indented coves,rolling hills and a walled old town that resembles a miniature Dubrovnik.

The interior is rich in vineyards, olive groves, small villages and hamlets. The steep southern coast is dotted with quiet coves and small beaches while the northern shore is flatter and has several natural harbours. Traditional culture flourishes on the island. Age-old religious ceremonies, folk music and sword dances usually make tourists an eager audience.

APARTMENT DESCRIPTION

This 3 star apartment features two bedrooms with queen size beds plus a living room with a pull-out sofa which provides room for 6 people comfortably. Living room offers the view to the sea, island of Hvar and Pelješac Penninsula. One bedroom is also facing the sea with exit to a front 20 square meter balcony connecting it to the living room. Fully stacked spacious kitchen with vaulted ceilings shares the space with the dining area in one large open living area. Bathroom offers all of the standard amenities. Besides the balcony facing the sea, there is also a large back covered terrace with an open air barbecue. Entire floor is covered with ceramic tile with the exception of the bedrooms. Apartment is 75 square meters in size.
