Guess A Number v1.0

A game "Guess A Number V1.0" was created only with a reason of learning and using a basic functions of programming under a 32-bits graphics operational system and using algorythms for creating AI. The game is for anybody who likes and wants to relax playing the oldest type of computer games.

There is a second player added in the game, so you can compete together to achieve a better score. The second player can be your computer or your friend.

Guess A Number v1.0

Basics of the game
Computer generates a number and you or your opponent have to guess it. The window for chnging parameters of the game opens if you press a function key F3 or through the menu option Game/Options.

In options window you can change parameters for number of players, their name, number of rounds, range of a target number, type of score, on/off sound and activate your computer as a second player with three types of its skill.

You can get a history of your playing with F6 (History) or high score list with F5 (Game/Hi Score). In "Guess A Number V1.0" you can use some tips and tricks in order to achieve a better score. Unfortunately, a computer, with a skill Genius, uses that type of tips and tricks, too.
NOTE: (Tips and tricks are completely LEGAL and Genius DOESN'T CHEAT. He doesn't know which is the target number. He can guess that number only with his own intelligence. All tips and tricks used by computer, are available to you, too.)

How to get better score?
1. When computer guesses a number, he uses yours and his failed attempts. Based on this knowledge he can guess a targeted number easier. You ca do that, too.
2. Each attempt of guessing a target number brings points. As closer an attempt is, as more points you get. But, only extremely close attempts of guessing bring more points.

If you get more than one point, that means you are extremely close to the target number, and with an easy calculation you can guess what target number is. When you guess a number you have to take caution not to enter in a range og getting points, because Genius will beat you immediately. You have to create your own strategy against an AI.

Computer can play as Abacus, Calculator or Genius.

Is an AI reality?
An Abacus is the worst of the three types of players and he is easy to beat. He has very low intelligence, and his tries have no logic. In case you have been beaten from the Abacus, believe me, it was PURE ACCIDENT.

The Calculator, as a second type of intelligence, can remember last five failed tries and on that basis he will try to get closer to targeted number. The Calculator won't beat you very often, but it Happens sometimes.

The Genius is a strongest player on the list and different of the previous players because he can use any tips and tricks you can, in order to guess a targeted number. His power is equal as humans and to beat him you have to build your own strategy. Don't be disappointed with Genius's victories.
