Invisible

Invisible is a simple board game written in AMOS. The board is matrix of 12*12 cells filled by various icons. A player must take a certain number of basic icons to open door and escape through the door to another level. In your quest, you must be careful because some icons may slow you down or kill you.

Options
When you start the game, you can see a simple menu. In a menu, you can control the arrow with joystick (up, down and fire) or arrow keys (up, down and return). 

Controls
Controlling is with a joystick only. It has two way to operate:

1. all eight directions (without fire button) &
2. only four directions (with fire button).


Special Keys  
Key Description
p pause (any other key or fire button for RETURN)
m toggle music/sfx
Esc interrupt a game, back to the menu
h/Help shows where you are


Icons
There are 35 icons in three types existing in this game.

1. Type Brings  bonus  points.
(Point,  Treasure,  2 gold  coin,  5 gold coins, 10 gold coins, Bonus, Crown, Ring)
2. Type Tools or weapons. With tools or weapons you can kill creatures from 3. type.
(Sword, Open gate, Water, Heart, Clock, Shield, Key, Candle, Antidote, Ladder)
3. Type .It mostly slows you down or kills you. 
(Prison, Cross, Close Gate, Fire, Poison, Death, Wall, Hole, Live sand, Black, Red, Bronze and Gold knight, Darkness, Web, Mouse, Bad point)

Time
Each level must be finished in certain time. At the beginning of the game,  time passes very slow, but in every next level, time will be accelerated. With clock icon you fill time-left to maximum.

HiScore
In the game, hiscore is top ten.  List  of  the  best  10. Top ten is in Inv.top. If Inv.dat doesn't exist, a game will create it.

Playing
The charm of the game is in invisible playing. A player can not see where he is in matrix. Only intuition. Don't be scared! It isn't  so hard. Learning time is the 0.50 - 2.50 min. If you give up in the beginning, you will miss real charm of the game. The game becomes fully interesting after 20. level (about 4 min.).

Installation and Beginning
If you have hard disk,  save  decompressed  files of Invisible in your own created directory and type: assign Invisible: your directory.
Example, if your directory is called games/invisible on dh0:, write:

assign Invisible: dh0:games/invisible

Otherwise, create boot disk named Invisible: and save decompressed files to diskette. Invisible requires OS 1.3 with 1 MB at least, diskfont.library and my Invisible.Fonts. The game was tested on Amiga 500 and Amiga 1200, PAL version.
