The island of Vir is situated about 25 kilometres northwest of Zadar in Northern Dalmatia, connected to the mainland by a bridge. The coastline measures 31 kilometers - in majority natural and almost untouched sandy and pebble beaches with crystal clear water are making from this island a paradise for family holidays.
A fresh breeze tempers the midsummer temperatures and is offering good conditions for windsurfers. Vir is one of 300 islands in archipelago of Zadar.
