Condicio^*1) is our innovation, designed for professional and commercial electrical devices (audio, video, computers, electronic musical instruments, electronic medical devices, measurement instruments...).

Line voltage (AC) problems:

• Croatian powerlines do not satisfy international standards. Long-distance and local powerlines are mostly old and overground situated, causing great energy losses (ca.16%). Old electrical installations and unreliable groundings (quasi-groundings) cause safety and line voltage problems. All in demonstrate the quality of electric current supply. (C) ^*2)
• Power failure happens. Switching on causes uncontroled and powerfull electric shocks (cause damages and burn out of electronic devices). (C) ^*2)
• Professinal and commercial electrical devices are designed upon international AC standards. Line voltage instabilities ^*3) are big problem of Croatian powerlines. Somewhere voltage is higher, other places lower, and mostly changeable and unstable. Voltage instabilities disturb electrical devices regular operation. (C) ^*2)
• In local powerlines, with every powerful electical device ^*4) switch on, emerges instant line voltage fall. Voltage fall immediately originates fast and powerful line voltage increase - shock. Devices power determines reach and intesity of AC shock ^*5). Reach can vary from the flat, building, to the city area. Frequent line voltage falls/shocks cause electrical devices operating disturbances; shocks cause serious damages. (W) ^*2)
• During operation, electrical devices produce voltage dirts (deviations) ^*6), and return them into power lines, producing line noise.
  External disturbances produce other part of line noise. Powerline wires are passive antennas, which capture electro-magnetic interferences (EMI), like VHF waves (cell phones, radios, TV-s, satelites...).Those signals produce extra line noise.
  Line noise is "collection" of micro-, mini- and midi-line voltage deviations..
  Line noise disturbes electrical devices operation. The highest degree of line noise is in urban and industrial powerlines; also in powerlines with permanent low voltage (rural aerias). Powerlines line noise pollution increases daily becouse of: aged powerlines, more and more electrical devices, VHF technology growth…). Line noise is serius problem even in the countries with the highest standards of powerlines ^*7). (W) ^*2)
• In powerlines different voltage deviations interact. Interactions intesify and multiply deviations. Result is: pretty high appereance of voltage deviations in powerlines (few hundreds in one second). (W)^*2)
• Power lines imperfections and external disturbances cause unstable AC frequency. It disturbs electrical devices operating precision and regularity (especially devices with electromotors and quartz regulation). (C) ^*2)

Electrical devices operation (without Condicio):

• Electrical device has two basic parts: power supply and operation section. Power supplys task is to adopt line voltage (reducing or increasing it) to the operation section needs. During this process, power supply also tries to correct line voltage deviations and instabilities. Beeing uncapable to do it, power supply spends great deal of energy (even 15 - 25%). ^*8). So, device that consumes 100W, wastes 15 to 25W. Lost energy transformes into heat (devices harmful overheating). So, operation section gets less energy, and poor quality energy (contains line voltage deviations).
  Line voltage deviations cause electrical devices inferior and unstable operation.
  Results are: devices reduced duration (higher tension and wearing out of electronic and mechanical parts) ^*8), low operation efficiency, larger energy consumption.
• Devices are unprotected from line voltage and current shocks, that are capable to cause device damages and endanger consumers life.
  Voltage damages can vary from irreversible thermal damages of electrical parts (resulting with permanent operating disturbances), to total burn out of devices.
• Unstable AC frequency causes devices inferior and unstable operation , and electronic and mechanical parts reduced duration.

Audio devices operation (without Condicio):

• Line voltage instabilities and deviations raise odd harmonics, which do not exist at the live perfomance. That is outstanding problem of digital devices.
  Results are: unnatural, irritating and tiring sound
  AC instabilities and deviations also provoke crossover distortions, which spoil musical signals polarity and phase. It leads to: spatial (3D) loss with stage performers misplacements , loss of fine and subtle musical details and nuances which are the essence of music (microdynamic loss). To hear "everything" it is necessary to step up the volume ^*9).
  Line noise reduces and harms musical signal, causing unclear (muddy) tonal picture (nontransparency).
  Consumers safety and devices protection are innsuficient.
• Unstable AC frequency causes: tape recorders and turntables tone tremble; digital players raised jitter and imprecise reading; computers blocades and hard disc errors…

Electrical devices operation with Condicio - advantages:

Consumers test

Condicio has to operate with the same devices at least ten hours, to show its virtues.

Our electrical devices virtues and faults are well known to us. For testing we use our senses of hearing, eyesight, touch...

Overal sound is better. With Condicio we must reduce volume, having even more musical details ("effect of stronger and better amplifier"). Loudspeakers cabinets have less resonances (less vibrations when touching cabinet sides with the tips of your fingers), resulting with more detailed and transparent sound. Bass must be extended, having more definition and energy, with noticable bass driver membrane less motions (bas driver enlarged duration).

Better picture and less eyes fatiguing are noticable. Computer must be "more obedient" (faster and more precise - less errors).

During instant line voltage falls (visible as bulb trembling), sound and picture must remain stable ^*11).

Electrical devices must be cooler (no overheating).
