Rakalj is a small and quiet place, located approx 20 kilometers from Pula, in eastern part of Istria. To the beach is possible with the unpaved, but good road (about few km), but its also possible to go to other places (beaches), where you have paved road, distance from 5 to 10 km (like to Duga Uvala, a bigger tourist complex). In Rakalj there are 3-4 smaller stores (50-150 m away), where you can buy every day groceries. Big supermarkets and megastores you have in Pula, 25 km away from Rakalj.
