March 2004. - After the civil service the Croatian Forest Administration rehires me as a surveyor in Zagreb subsidiary. My daily tasks are mainly field data processing and working with GIS and CAD software.

June 2003 - Febrary 2004 . I serve the civil service at the Croatian Job Bureau in Kutina. Although I don't work in Croatian Forest Administration in this period, I do still write for Mrež@.

November 2001 - June 2003. While still writing for Mrež@, mainly covering themes from Oracle9i technology and Linux, I work for Croatian Forestry as a civil enginner and geoinformatics expert. My daily tasks include working with ArcView, AutoCAD, Sokkia total station (measuring objects and large areas belonging to Croatian Forest Co.)

May 2001 I work as a journalist/Contributing Editor for the Croatian informatical magazine Mrež@. I've written myriad of articles so far, the topics of all are accessible browsing Mrež@'s search page

1994-2000. - Bachelor of Geodesy, Fauclty of Geodesy, Zagreb. 15.12.2000. I graduated with the paper: "Cadastre and Oracle8i Spatial" that describes creation of the spatial data base by using the Spatial module of the Oracle8i DBMS.

During this period of time I performed assistant tasks (demonstrator - older and experienced student that helps other students, and often is in charge of practical excersises) for courses: Practical Geodesy, Geoinformatics, Engineer Geodesy, Comunal Information Systems and Digital Cadastre. I also took part in pilot-project Samobor (drawing location sketches in AutoCAD and creating and maintaining the data base in MS Access), and in the project of urban renewal, measuring and drawing a few objects in Vukovar.

1990-1994 - High-school in Kutina (Gymnasium). My graduation work was a paper in English: "Love for the animals helps the children to grow up".

I'm a certified Linux Administrator, and am experienced in MS Windows operating system (all versions). I intensively used CAD programs MicroStation and AutoCAD. I worked with GIS applications such as ESRI's ArcInfo and Intergraph's Geomedia Professional. I created and populated the Oracle8i database with spatial data, using the Oracle's Spatial module.

I'm using programming languages like C++, Java and Perl, and a few other script languages, mainly in Linux operating system.

I'm fluent in English, and also know basics of German language. My hobbies are reading and working on my computer (lately I'm concentrating on Oracle9i technology), and writing articles for computer magazine Mrež@.
