FIRST OF ALL!
(From the introduction into the Saga)

The first author of this Saga made a long way with much effort and love in collecting of data on the roots of the Zurl family name. (The name appears as Zurl, Curl, Corelj and Corel, but the root is the same). We are grateful to him from the bottom of our heart.

When I took a manuscript, I realized how difficult and responsible a finding of documents and photos was. In despite of all efforts and care, some events are certainly missing, and some were described as they were heard from the family members.I hope that this is the last of 130 pages of the book. The further ones will be written in the future. I shall continue the Saga until the day when a new Zurl will be ready to continue it, hoping that the book will newer end.To my dear cousin and the whole family, with love, zeljko zurlŽeljko Zurl

AFTER THAT!

As the Saga grew, new techniques made their contribution. The book came from the paper on a new medium, the CD.

That made possible that everyone who was interested in gets a book, animated photo-album, and the ordinary family album with more than 300 photos and music. There are three marches performed by the Croatian military orchestra, one overture for the tamburica orchestra of Josip Corelj and twelve composition of his grandson Dejan Corelj accompanied by his wife Marina and recorded on a simple casetplayer. Some of the mentioned options will be able to be reproduced on the CD/DVD players. The next step was encouraged by contacts with the Zurls outside of Croatia. A mutual interest pointed out a question:
Are we a family? That led to the decision to put the Saga on the internet as an interesting content and to reconsidering to people with the family name Zurl or similar.
It is quite possible that the family tree is just one branch of the tree named ZURL.

AT THE END
